Η Adele, η Lana Del Rey, η PJ Harvey είναι στη λίστα των νικητών των βραβείων Ivor Novello 2012, στην ετήσια τελετή της Βρετανικής Ακαδημίας Στιχουργών, Συνθετών και Συγγραφέων που ξεκίνησε το 1955 στη μνήμη του Βρετανού καλλιτέχνη Ivor Novello.
Η τελετή απονομής έγινε στο ξενοδοχείο Grosvenor House στο Λονδίνο στις 17 Μαΐου και οι καλλιτέχνες διαγωνίστηκαν σε έξι κατηγορίες και μια σειρά ειδικών βραβείων, ανάμεσα στα οποία και εκείνο του συνθέτη της χρονιάς, που απονεμήθηκε στην Adele.
Η βρετανίδα τραγουδίστρια, συγκινημένη, παρέλαβε επίσης και το βραβείο "PRS for Music Most Performed Work" για το 'Rolling In The Deep', ενώ το 'Video Games' χάρισε στη Lana Del Rey το βραβείο "Best Contemporary Song".
Η PJ Harvey κέρδισε το βραβείο για το καλύτερο άλμπουμ της χρονιάς για το 'Let England Shake', ενώ το "Best Song Musically and Lyrically" πήγε στον Ed Sheeran με το The A-Team.
