Βραβεία BAFTA 2012: οι υποψηφιότητες

Δύο μέρες μετά τις Χρυσές Σφαίρες ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες και των Βρετανικών κινηματογραφικών βραβείων
H Γαλλική ταινία "The Artist" -που την Κυριακή κέρδισε Χρυσή Σφαίρα καλύτερης ταινίας στην κατηγορία Comedy/Musical- αλλά και το "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" είναι τα μεγάλα φαβορί των Βρετανικών κινηματογραφικών βραβείων BAFTA.
Η ασπρόμαυρη βωβή ταινία του Michel Hazanavicius συγκέντρωσε 12 υποψηφιότητες συνολικά, ενώ το κατασκοπικό θρίλερ του Tomas Alfredson με τον Gary Oldman, 11.
Η ταινία "Hugo" του Martin Scorsese προτάθηκε σε 9 κατηγορίες, το "The Iron Lady" με την Meryl Streep σε 4 και το "The Descendants" με τον George Clooney σε 3.

Η τελετή απονομής των βραβείων BAFTA θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 12 Φεβρουαρίου 2012 στο Royal Opera House στο Covent Garden του Λονδίνου. Ακολουθούν οι σημαντικότερες υποψηφιότητες των κινηματογραφικών βραβείων ΒAFTA.
